Walled off at the database
Your accounts are isolated at the database level — you only ever see your own data, enforced by the database itself, not just by our app code.
Read-only access
We can view your accounts and positions; we can never move money or place an order. There is no trade endpoint to abuse.
Bank-grade encryption
Your Schwab connection and any AI key are protected with AES-256 — the same encryption used to safeguard sensitive financial data — never stored in plain text.
Even admins can't read your secrets
Owner-only policies on the token and settings tables mean an operator cannot read your brokerage connection or keys through the app.
Account numbers stay masked
Only the last few digits of an account number are ever stored or shown — never the full number.
AI is optional and on your terms
The assistant is entirely optional and runs on your own AI key. Leave it off and none of your portfolio information is ever sent anywhere.
Straight talk: your data is stored in a secure cloud database, and if you switch on the AI assistant, the relevant portfolio details are sent to a third-party AI provider to answer your question. We don’t sell or share your data with advertisers — but we won’t pretend it “never leaves” or that it’s end-to-end encrypted, because that wouldn’t be true.
